Under the leadership of our owner, Sean Prewett, GPI proudly competes in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series, showcasing our commitment to precision, performance, and a relentless pursuit of victory. Our racing team, equipped with the cutting-edge GPI race car, exemplifies our dedication to excellence both on and off the track.

Lamborghini Super Trofeo

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo is an international motor racing series. The Lamborghini Super Trofeo is the one-make championship organized by Lamborghini Squadra Corse. The series involves exclusively Huracán Super Trofeo Evo model cars in 3 continental series: Europe, Asia, and North America. The three continental series all have a common format: 6 double races, each 50 minutes long, on the world’s most prestigious circuits, completed by a World Final that decrees the Lamborghini world champions.
Lamborghini Super Trofeo drivers compete in identical Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo cars, based on the Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 replacing the older Gallardo version. The drivers are also divided according to categories – Pro, Pro-Am, Am, and LB Cup.

GPI RACING CAREER

2007:

January- Russell Racing School Techniques of Racing (3-day course)

February- Russell Racing School Advanced Racing Course (3-day course)

March-October- Russell Racing School, ran approximately four race weekends

September- Formula Mazda Challenge, raced Formula Mazda

Nov-December- Tested Formula Mazda at Sonoma, BWRP, and raced at Firebird

2008:

February- Purchased Pro Formula Mazda (PFM) and started testing

March-October- Raced PFM 11 times and tested extensively - multiple podiums and wins

***Won 2008 SCCA San Francisco Region Formula Atlantic Championship

2009:

February-September- Raced PFM eight times and tested extensively - multiple podiums/wins

2010:

February-October- Raced PFM eight times and tested - multiple podiums and wins

2011:

February-October- Raced all Formula Car Challenge races (16 races), plus testing- multiple podiums. The Formula Car Challenge events were either Sanctioned inside SCCA or NASA race weekends. Depending on car turnout we either received our own race group or ran with the other formula cars such as Formula Atlantic

2012:

September- PFM Test at Sonoma

October- Raced PFM Double race at Sonoma

2013:

April- PFM Test at Sonoma

May- PFM Double race at Thunderhill

June- PFM Double race at Sonoma

July- PFM Double race at Portland

2016:

June- PFM Test at Sonom/PFM Double race at Sonoma

2021:

Ran Select Formula 3 Formula Pro USA Western Championship and SCCA events.
